Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Axcis Education are a supply agency that specialise in SEND. We're currently recruiting for teaching assistants who can cover on the day, short term and long term bookings in a variety of mainstream, SEND, PRU's and alternative provision schools in North Liverpool and Sefton. This is a great way to gain experience quickly as you will be working in lots of different setting with different types of special needs. To work for us you need to have a minimum of three months experience working with children or with adults with special needs. You could have personal or voluntary experience. The working hours are generally between 8.45-3pm depending on the school. Axcis have competitive payrates. You may be expected to work with some children with challenging behaviour and you may need to support more physically disabled children with personal care and manual handling. To work for us you will need to be able to work a minimum of two days a week. You will get a calendar and you can choose which days you want to work each week.
