Job Title: Teaching Assistant - SEND - Primary
Axcis Education is working alongside one of its outstanding primary schools that is looking for a teaching assistant to support a number of students in upper KS2 with additional needs. The ideal candidate will have experience of supporting a range of students with SEND on a 1:1 basis as well as working with small groups. A strong understanding of a range of special needs such as: autism and speech, language and communication needs is essential. This role will involve the ideal teaching assistant working with a number of student with a EHCP throughout the school day across KS2. This will involve classroom support as well as some intervention work. This larger than average primary school is based in Trafford and has strong senior leaders that believe in a positive teaching and learning environment for all its staff and students. Trafford boasts excellent transport links throughout, so commuting to this school is easier than most from Manchester and Salford. This role is full-time (8.30-3.30) and is to commence at the beginning of December. Initially until the end of the academic year, this role could go through to September 2022.
