The ideal SEND teaching assistant will have experience of supporting students with additional needs on a 1:1 basis in the Early Years. Strong experience of autism and complex needs is essential. The teaching assistant must have a strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage and Special Needs. The role requires an experienced SEND teaching assistant to support a student in Year 6 with autism and complex needs. The student has social, communication difficulties and is working below his age expectation. He requires support on a 1:1 basis in every of school life especially in the classroom.
