Job Title: Teaching Assistant- SEMH Support- Tower Hamlets
Teaching Assistant- SEMH Support- Tower Hamlets Teaching Assistant required for 1:1 social, emotional and mental health-SEMH support at a special needs secondary school in Tower Hamlets. Axcis is currently working with a special needs secondary school in Tower Hamlets who require an experienced Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a 15 year old male pupil with SEMH. The student may often become distressed and show a lack of boundary understanding in their response to challenging situations in class. Therefore the teaching assistant must be confident in behaviour management and intervention techniques, always maintaining a patient approach. This is a full-time, long-term role with the potential to become permanent. The school are looking to appoint as soon as possible. The SEND school is easily accessible by public transport and car. The school provides a number of benefits for all staff as well as a number of internal facilities such as therapy rooms.
