Teaching Assistant- SEMH Support- Tower Hamlets Teaching Assistant required for 1:1 social, emotional and mental health-SEMH support at a special needs secondary school in Tower Hamlets. Axcis is currently working with a special needs secondary school in Tower Hamlets who require an experienced Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a 15 year old male pupil with SEMH. The student may often become distressed and show a lack of boundary understanding in their response to challenging situations in class. Therefore the teaching assistant must be confident in behaviour management and intervention techniques, always maintaining a patient approach. This is a full-time, long-term role with the potential to become permanent. The school are looking to appoint as soon as possible. The SEND school is easily accessible by public transport and car.
