Job Title: Teaching Assistant - SEMH & Complex Needs - Primar
Axcis Education is working with an exciting primary SEMH school that is looking for an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to work with them in the upcoming weeks on a long-term basis.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with students that display challenging, complex behaviour. A background in working in a PRU, SEMH or Alternative Provision is desired but not essential, as long as the ideal teaching assistant has experience supporting students with mental health and challenging behaviour. The ideal candidate must be able to take guidance from the class teacher, whilst being able to act of their own initiative.
The teaching assistant role is full-time and will commence in January 2022. The school are taking CVs as we speak, with interviews taking place over the next couple of weeks. This is a long term supply position, though there is every chance of it going over onto contract with this inspirational school.
This excellent special school based in Trafford has strong senior leaders that have created a strong ethos of teaching and learning. Their school is well resourced and staffed; and it is easy to get to on both public transport and by the M60 by car.
