Job Title: Teaching Assistant, secondary
Axcis are looking to appoint a teaching assistant to work in the Preston area, within a mainstream secondary school, supporting pupils who have additional learning needs or require catch up sessions due to the amount of education they have missed out on during the pandemic. The role will take place in a Preston based mainstream secondary school which caters for students aged 11 – 17 years of age. The role is full time and school hours are 8.30am – 3.30pm Monday – Friday and the role will start as soon as possible, on a long term basis, predominantly working 1:1 with students who require extra support. The role will be full time so please do not apply if you cannot commit to the full hours. The school is a mainstream secondary provision which is Ofsted graded “good” and the staff are very welcoming and inclusive. The candidate applying for this role must have some experience working with children, ideally in an education setting and candidates applying for this role should be available full time, for work in the Preston area. The role will continue for the full academic year and candidates applying for this role should be able to commit to a long term position.
