Teaching Assistant- Secondary SEND School- Hammersmith
Secondary Teaching Assistant needed for classroom support at SEND school in Hammersmith.
Axcis are working closely with a special needs secondary school in Hammersmith that require a teaching assistant to help with daily classroom support.
The role will entail day to day duties supervising children with varied special needs on a 1:1 and group basis. You will follow and support the teacher's lesson plans, applying any experience and behavioural management techniques you may have as and when needed. This immediate start role is ongoing with the potential to become permanent.
The school is based in central Merton and is easily accessible by public transport or car. The school upholds an outstanding reputation for their active focused lessons plans and is keen to accept teaching assistants with experience or an interest in sports coaching, activity leading or performing arts.
The ideal candidate for this Teaching Assistant role will:
" Have experience working in either a school, care or childcare setting
" Have proven experience or interest in sports or outdoor activities
" Have an experienced and proactive approach when giving 1:1 and group support for older children
" Hold an enhanced DBS that must be on the updated service (if you do not have one Axcis can assist you in attaining one)
