Axcis are pleased to be working with a primary school in North Liverpool who is looking to recruit an experienced 1-1 Teaching Assistant to work 1-1 with a foundation stage pupil with complex autism and ADHD with an immediate start until Easter 2022. This is a full-time role. You will be a role model, mentor and daily support to the child you will be working with and will need to be able to establish a good working relationship with them. Resilience is an essential trait as the child has challenging behaviour and experience working with children with autism is a must. You must have a calm nature and ability to de-escalate situations. The successful candidate will be creative, flexible and have a natural talent for working with students who exhibit challenging behaviour. Hours are Monday to Friday from 8.45am to 3.30pm.
