Job Title: Teaching Assistant- Primary School- Ealing
An 'Outstanding' primary school based in Ealing are looking for a SEND teaching assistant to work 1:1 with a pupil in reception who has complex medical needs and is confined to a wheelchair. The ideal SEND teaching assistant will have a passion for working with SEND pupils and demonstrable experience of working with autism and complex medical needs the below points are essential when applying for this role: o Manual handling training o Team teach trained (negotiable) o Makaton trained o Intimate care trained o Worked as part of a team The school are keen to find someone who has previous experience in supporting medical needs and physical disabilities. They are keen to find someone who is confident in; o Assisting children with feeding needs o Planning activities at a work station o Handing over to parent/carer at start and end of school day This is a full-time position to start in ASAP on an ongoing basis and will be Monday - Friday between the hours of 8.30am - 4.00PM.
