Job Title: Teaching Assistant - Part-time - SEMH - Primary
Axcis Education is working with an excellent primary school in Horwich looking for a SEND teaching assistant on a part-time basis (this could be 5 mornings or 5 afternoons). This role would commence in the upcoming weeks. The ideal teaching assistant would have experience of working with primary aged students with additional needs such as SEMH, ODD, PDA or ADHD. A good knowledge and understanding of challenging behaviour; as well as de-escalation and distraction techniques is essential. This role is part-time and can be flexible depending on the teaching assistant's circumstances. The school are offering a job share, so can accommodate either 5 mornings or 5 afternoons depending on preference. This is a great flexible opportunity for the right teaching assistant. This lovely primary school is based in Horwich, Bolton and accommodates learners 3-11. Senior Leaders of this school ensure that all children are catered for in this inclusive learning environment.
