We are currently seeking a teaching assistant to work in a secondary school supporting students with SEMH and behavioural difficulties. You will be working with a particular year group supporting in a wide range of lessons and enrichment activities. You will be helping in a range of duty's and some off site tutoring so driving would be distinct advantage. Also someone that was willing to be MIDAS trained to drive a minibus would also be a great advantage. Resilience is an essential trait as the children have challenging behaviour; you must have a calm nature and ability to de-escalate situations. The successful candidate will be creative, flexible and have a natural talent for working with students who exhibit challenging behaviour.
