Job Title: Support Workers
Do you have an NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care? Do you have experience in residential or support work? Are you interested in care work? If you do then Axcis Education would love to hear from you. You will be working with children with a range of learning disabilities and mental health issues. Ideally you will have undertaken personal care and manual handling before and you will have supported individuals with autism, challenging behaviours, complex needs, medical needs and mental health issues such as depression, OCD and attachment disorders. We have a wide range of shifts available across all hours of the day and across all seven days. You will be supporting them with tasks which allow them to live independently in the community whether that's supporting them to get dressed, eat breakfast, take medication, attend social outings, support with their tenancies. To work for us you will need to come in for a registration meeting. If you don't have a DBS on the update service you will need to get a new one which will cost you £46 and we will need a minimum of two references.
