Job Title: Supply Behaviour Support Assistant
Axcis Education are working with a special school situated in Plymouth who are seeking behaviour support assistants to work on a flexible supply basis.
The school caters for primary aged children who have moderate learning difficulties, social, emotional and mental health difficulties and other needs. Within this there is a wide range of needs, such as children with mild medical issues, ADHD, dyspraxia, autism and speech and language difficulties.
Working on a flexible supply basis means being available at short notice to cover absences within the school. The school often request staff cover for the same day and so you need to be flexible. You can pick and choose what days you wish to work and availability is made simple with the use of an online calendar.
Successful applicants should have a minimum of 2 days per week available and have experience of supporting children or young people with additional needs.
