Job Title: Special Needs Teaching Assistant - Primary - ADHD
An ‘Outstanding’ primary school based in Barnet are looking for a Special Needs Teaching assistant to provide 1:1 support for a Lower Key Stage 2 pupil with ADHD and some associated behavioural needs. The ideal Special Needs teaching assistant will be committed, enthusiastic and have demonstrable SEND experience, particularly with ADHD. You will also have a demonstrable understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and be able to work in collaborative manner with the Class Teacher and SENCO in order to support the child’s learning and progress. This is a full-time role to start ASAP and continue on for the rest of the next academic year. Pay - £75 - £90 per day. About the role: • 1:1 Special Needs Teaching Assistant working with ADHD • Full time, (Mon-Fri) The ideal candidate: • Experience working with Key Stage 2 pupils • Experience with ADHD and challenging behaviour.
