Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant
An Autism specialist school is looking for teaching assistants to come and work on a full-time ongoing basis. The school is very inclusive and supportive of their pupils and provides full-rounded support to each of their students. The school has a full support team for pupils and you will be working within this team. You will also be responsible for using your initiative to further help and support the pupils in their education. The school also has some extremely well-equipped sensory rooms, a high standard of training facilities, break-out pods for teaching, and themed teaching zones. The successful candidate will have experience working with ASD pupils and it is beneficial though not essential to have some relevant qualifications such as level 2 or 3 supporting teaching. This school is looking for staff to start straight away so a DBS on the update service is required, or the candidate should be willing to gain a DBS prior to starting the role.
