Axcis Education are working closely with a school in Runcorn, who require a Teaching Assistant to work in a secondary SEND school that supports students who have a range of specific needs including ASC, ADHD, Asperger's, SEMH, complex needs and SLD. As a Teaching Assistant you will be supporting students in the classroom with additional learning needs (ALN), autism, ADHD and physical needs. Applicants should have GCSEs at grade C or above in Maths and English and experience of working with children or adults with additional learning needs. Previous experience of personal care, PEG feeding, manual handling, MAPA, hoists or administering medication would be desirable but not essential. This is a temporary position; however it has the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
