Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant
Are you an experienced teaching assistant? Have you worked with primary or secondary aged pupils as a SEND or mainstream TA? Axcis are currently recruiting for an SEND TA to work with a KS2 class in Bridport, Dorset. The school have a superb reputation in the local area and a pupil is joining the school in the new term who requires 1:1 support. The pupil is in KS2 and has SEMH and ASC. They struggle to settle and are behind their peers academically, therefore it is essential the school find a committed candidate who can work closely with the pupil to keep them engaged and allow them to succeed academically. The school is based in Bridport and is a two form entry, you will work alongside the class teacher and the class has 31 pupils. The school benefits from some superb CPD training programs that can enhance your career further. To be successful you must have SEND experience as well as at least 1 years experience working in school setting as a teaching assistant.
