A school in Oldbury is looking for a teaching assistant to join their year 3 class and support the class. The class has 25 pupils and there is one other teaching assistant working 1:1 supporting an ASD pupil. Your role with consist of providing general in class support for pupils and ensuring that students are engaged during classes. It will also be important to be able to work with small groups on focus sessions for Maths, English and Science. This school is a mainstream primary easily accessible both my driving and public transport. The school has amazing facilities from an indoor swimming pool, library, computer lab and large outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate will have experience working closely with children; it is also beneficial to have experience supporting SEND students. It is also desired that the candidate has some classroom experience or a recent Level 2 supporting teaching in education or something similar.
