Axcis education is currently looking for a fully qualified teacher to work at a lovely secondary school in west London. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in an "outstanding" Ofsted rated school. The position will start in ASAP and will continue for the duration of the academic year. The successful candidate will undertake the teaching of SEN students (EHCP and SEN Support), across the range of SEN needs and ages, and particularly those learners with Speech and Language Communication needs and Autistic Spectrum Disorders. About the Position: You will be expected to provide a quality of teaching and learning provision that can be judged to be at least 'good' (according to the Ofsted evaluation framework) and ensures all students make at least good progress. You will be expected to plan and deliver personalised 1:1 or small groups lessons for students with significant SEN/D in accordance with the school's Teaching and Learning Policy, ensuring that all students that you work with make good progress towards clear learning objectives. You will work closely with teachers and teaching assistants in ensuring that suitably differentiated material and learning pathways are provided to challenge all students regardless of ability. And to support then SENDCo to provide and lead training for teachers and teaching assistants in supporting students with special and additional needs.
