Axcis Education are working with a SEN school in Saltash who are seeking to recruit teaching assistants to support pupils on a 1-1 basis. Positions are full time, Monday - Friday, 8.30 - 3, term time only. This special school caters for pupils aged 5 - 16 years who have a variety of needs including autism, speech and language, complex and challenging behaviour. To be considered for these full time 1-1 SEN teaching assistant roles, you should have had previous experience working with individuals with additional needs and be of a kind, caring and patient nature. You should be resilient and flexible. Knowledge of Makaton would be beneficial but is not essential.
