Axcis Education are recruiting Team Teach trained and certified Teaching Assistants in the Exeter area for a January start - full-time work on a long term basis with the opportunity to become a permanent role. The school is an alternative provisions covering primary and secondary pupils with SEMH, trauma and Challenging Behaviour. The role is to work on a 1-1, 2-1 or small group basis with KS1 and 2 pupils with a range of behaviour difficulties. The hours are Monday to Friday, 8.45am to 3.45pm. The daily pay rate will be between £75 and £80 per day. These roles are full-time and on a long-term basis. The ideal candidate will have Team Teach training and a minimum of 6 months working in an alternative provision or have worked with students with SEMH. A lot of these pupils have had difficult home lives and have been let down many times. You must have a calm nature and ability to de-escalate situations.
