Job Title: Part-Time Learning Support Assistant- Richmond
A small, close-knit special needs school in Richmond is currently seeking a support worker for a male student with profound physical needs.
Working 1:1 with the same student, your role will be to provide consistent care and academic support throughout the day. As the student is non-verbal and has complex physical needs, you will be required to support him with personal care (feeding and toileting), and also with non-verbal methods of communication.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced SEND teaching assistant or care worker who can provide reliable, compassionate and respectful support to the young man in question. They should also have, or be willing to undertake, moving and handling training so that they can provide full care support.
