Job Title: Learning Support Assistant- South East London- College
A mainstream college based in Mottingham, in South East London, are currently looking for various learning support assistants to support students with autism, ADHD and physical disabilities on a 1:1 basis. No personal care will be involved. This position is to start asap, on a long term basis. Achieving an overall Good Ofsted inspection the college currently offers courses to around 10,000 students, in various campuses around London. Students who attend this college would study or be interested in Horticulture, Animal Care, Saddlery, Arboriculture, Floristry, Garden Design, Countryside and the Environment. Therefore the successful applicants would need to enjoy working in the outdoors or with animals. For those young adults who have SEND, the college aims to provide in class support, tutorial support as well as functional skills support. Ideally the college are looking for someone who is able to commit for the whole academic year, the positions available are full time and part time, working 3-5 days per week, from Monday-Friday.
