This well-regarded special school in Surrey stands on 56 acres of wooded grounds with ample space for recreational activities. The school caters to up to 150 pupils and Sixth Form students between the ages of 7 – 19, who have a range of academic abilities and complex needs. New staff members will support students with a range of complex needs and will be joining a specialized team that includes other teaching assistants, learning support assistants, and qualified therapists offering Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Sensory Integration. Additionally, there are purpose-built medical facilities where nursing cover is provided on a daily basis by qualified staff. Experience offering personal care, manual handling, and having experience working with children and young people with complex needs would be ideal for this job.
