Job Title: Learning Support Assistant- £85 per day
A special needs provision located in Surbiton is seeking to recruit a full-time learning support assistant to start immediately. The provision provides support for pupils who have a range of severe and complex learning disabilities. The ideal learning support assistant will have experience supporting students with complex learning needs in a school/education setting.
The provision provides an environment where pupils are entitled to a bespoke, stimulating, and challenging curriculum that is centered around the needs and potential of each individual pupil, where all achievements are celebrated. The provision aims to provide a holistic curriculum incorporating an understanding of and focus on mental health and well-being, driven by pupils’ individual needs, promoting tolerance and respect for others, that promotes a joy of learning and independence.
To be shortlisted for this role you must:
Have an enhanced child and adult DBS on the update service
Have previous experience working with students with special needs/learning difficulties
Be available to start in immediately on a full-time basis.
