Axcis Education are urgently recruiting for a learning mentor to work at a provision based in Stratford who ideally has experience of supporting young adults with Social, Emotional Mental Health. The provision which caters for secondary aged pupils who have either been excluded from school on a full time basis or who are receiving interim intervention. The ideal applicant needs to have a good understanding of supporting pupils, who will present challenging behaviour, have poor attendance and a lack of confidence. You will need to build relationships and gain trust quickly as you will be working with some pupils on a one to one basis. This is a full time position starting in January.
