Axcis Education are recruiting a cover supervisor to work in a SEN school, catering for pupils aged 4-16 with autism. To be eligible for this role, you do not require teaching qualifications however, previous SEN experience is essential such as Team Teach as you will be working with different age groups with complex needs. This is a long-term role starting immediately.
The school is based within a 5 minute walk from St Helens train station. Recently awarded “outstanding” by OFSTED, it has modern facilities such as a sensory room and continually persists on introducing the latest technology to assist their students. This is an exciting time to join an innovative team and an ever-growing school in a central area of the town.
Working as a cover supervisor is a gateway into teaching. If you are considering a career in education, this role is the perfect catalyst to start the process. Teaching children with autism will provide you with the necessary skills to progress in the education sector.
