The ideal SEND teaching assistant will have experience of supporting students with additional needs on a 1:1 basis. Strong experience of autism and complex needs is essential. The teaching assistant must have a strong ability to engage and build a rapport with students who find classroom based learning difficult. The role requires an experienced SEND teaching assistant to support a student in Year 6 with autism and complex needs. The student has social, communication difficulties and is working below his age expectation. He requires support on a 1:1 basis in every of school life especially in the classroom. This lovely school is based in Trafford and has an excellent reputation locally. The school has a broad range of children of varying needs and backgrounds.
