Job Title: ASD Teaching assistant
We are working with a special school in the Worcester area who are currently looking for a Special Needs Teaching Assistant. The school is in a fantastic location with easy access to public transport links. They are currently recruiting for SEND TA's to join their team on a long term basis.
You will be expected to work with Primary aged children between the ages of 5-11 years and of a mixed gender. You will be working with pupils who have communication disorders and delays, mainly on the Autistic spectrum. You must have an understanding of working with young people with special educational needs and disabilities.
The hours are 8:30 - 3:30pm with an immediate start.
What you will need:
- Experience with Autistic Spectrum Disorder is a must
- DBS on the update service or must be willing to obtain a new one
