Job Title: Youth Worker
Axcis are looking to appoint a youth worker in the Preston area, to work in a school which caters for KS3 / 4 students who have SEMH difficulties and additional needs.
The school is smaller than average and caters exclusively for KS3 / 4 male pupils who can no longer remain in education. The school are looking to appoint a youth worker, to provide behaviour support for pupils with additional needs. The school are hoping to appoint a youth worker, with experience supporting children who have additional needs or challenging behaviours. The school is based in the Fulwood area of Preston and they’re looking for a candidate to start, ASAP!
The role will start as soon as possible, on a long term basis, in the Preston area and school hours are 830am – 330pm Monday – Friday. The role will require you to work on a 1:1 and small group basis with students who may display difficult behaviours.
The candidate, must have experience supporting students with additional needs and / or challenging behaviours and, the candidate must be available to work full time in the Preston area. The candidate will be confident, reliable and empathetic, with strong behaviour management skills. Pay for this role will be £11.50 per hour.
