I am currently working with a mainstream primary school in Birmingham, who are based in the Moseley area. They are currently looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to work on a one to one basis with 2 of their new reception pupils who have autism. The pupils are currently doing 1/2 days but are looking at being integrated into the school on a full time basis. You will need to be experienced in manageing challenging behaviour and autism and be confident in working with EYFS age groups. The position is for an ASAP start for the right candidate and at this stage is up until the October half term with the possibility of being ongoing for the full academic year.
