Axcis Education is currently dealing with an excellent special school in Salford that is looking for a teaching assistant on a supply basis. This role will begin in November and will be on a long term basis. The ideal candidate will have experience working with pupils with PMLD and SLD. This is a general teaching assistant role, but the ideal candidate will have to demonstrate both initiative and an ability to ask questions when needed. An understanding of PECS and Signalong is desired but not essential. This special school caters for pupils aged 11-19 with a range of SEND including PMLD and SLD. senior leaders are passionate about their learning community and have created a happy, progressive setting for their pupils to thrive in.
