Job Title: Teaching Assistant, SEND
Axcis are looking to recruit two new members of staff for an SEND provision in the Carnforth area. The school caters for students with additional needs including autism, moderate learning difficulties, physical disabilities, SEMH difficulties and some challenging behaviours. The school caters for children of all ages and also has a residential care home attached, where most of the students live. The school is set in beautiful grounds and both roles are due to become permanent after an initial probation period. The school are looking to appoint two full time members of staff; one to work in the school, full time, supporting the pupils throughout their education and the other role, will be in the residential / care site, but this will be working day time hours, but with the options of picking up additional shifts. The candidate may have to provide personal care and also, candidates must have experience supporting students with challenging behaviours. Both roles are set to become permanent and both roles are to start as soon as possible! The pay for the roles will start at £11.40 per hour.
