Job Title: Teaching Assistant - SEMH - Part-time - Primary
Axcis Education is currently working with an exciting primary school in Trafford, that is looking for a part-time teaching assistant to support a student with SEMH and Complex Needs.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working with pupils with SEMH and Complex Needs. A strong understanding of de-escalation and behavior management. A strong ability to forge solid working relationship and break down learning barriers is essential. The ideal teaching assistant will be flexible in nature and will be able to adapt support to situations that occur throughout the school day. A Team Teach qualification is desired but not essential.
This is a SEND teaching assistant role and would require the candidate to work with a student in KS2 - 4 afternoons a week.
This forward thinking Trafford based primary school is vastly improving in all areas. Strong Senior Leaders are committed in their quest to create a happy, warm learning environment for their pupils and staff to thrive in. All staff are working together with the school's long-term goal in mind. This is an inclusive primary setting with specialist SEND provision in place to cater for the specific needs of their students.
This role is to begin in December 2021 on a full-time, longer-term basis.
