Axcis are looking to recruit a teaching assistant for a primary school, which caters for students with autism and SEMH difficulties in the Ormskirk area.
The school, are looking to appoint a teaching assistant to work with KS1/2 students who may display difficult behaviours. The school, are hoping to appoint a teaching assistant who has some experience working with students with additional needs and / or de-escalating challenging behaviours. The school is based on the outskirts of Ormskirk with plenty of on site parking. The school are hoping to appoint a teaching assistant to start as soon as possible and candidates applying for this role, must be available full time.
The role, will start as soon as possible and school hours are 830am – 4pm Monday – Friday. The role will require you to support students who may display challenging behaviours and often have additional needs, including autism. The Ormskirk based school are looking for a candidate to join their team on a long term, possibly permanent basis.
The candidate applying for this role must be confident in their behaviour management skills and have some experience working with special educational needs. The candidate must be available full time and seeking work in the Ormskirk area.
