Job Title: Teaching assistant, ASD
JOB LOCATION:
Kingston upon Thames
Axcis is working with a Primary school located in Chessington that is looking to hire a new Teaching assistant to work with a student who will need support in lessons; the student is in key stage 2. The role will be starting ASAP and will require you to work full time from 8.30 am- 4 pm. To be shortlisted for this role you will need to have experience working with students with autism.
The school currently has 7 classes and a pre-school morning Nursery, the school is small enough to retain a family atmosphere but large enough to offer full challenge and opportunity to all children. The staff works hard, in close partnership with parents, to provide a high-quality primary education for every child from age 3 to 11. The staff is welcoming and friendly which creates an enjoyable and inclusive working environment.
To be shortlisted for this role you must:
• Have an enhanced Child DBS on the update service
• Have experience working with children with autism
• Be available to start a full-time role ASAP
