Job Title: Teaching Assistant - ASC/ SLD - Secondary
Axcis Education is currently dealing with an inspirational special school in Salford who are looking for a teaching assistant on a long-term, full-time basis. This role will begin in January 2022 and will run until the end of the academic year.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with pupils with ASC and SLD. This is a general teaching assistant role, but the ideal candidate will have to demonstrate both initiative and an ability to ask questions when needed. An understanding of PECS and Signalong is desired but not essential.
This special school caters for pupils aged 11-19 with a range of SEND including ASC and SLD. senior leaders are passionate about their learning community and have created a happy, progressive setting for their pupils to thrive in. The school is surrounded by excellent transport links, so whether you're driving or on public transport, the school is easy to get to.
This job is full-time, longer-term and will commence in January 2022.
