Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Axcis Education are working with a mainstream primary school in Plymouth who are seeking a teaching assistant to support children with various needs within a Key Stage Two class. This role is full time, Monday - Friday, term time only. Working hours will be 8.30 - 3. This mainstream primary school is two form entry with approximately 410 pupils on roll. The school is easily accessible by public transport and so access to your own vehicle is not essential. In this role you will be supporting various children who have different needs including autism, SEMH and challenging behaviour. You will be required to work with pupils on both a 1-1 basis and to deliver small group intervention. To be considered for this position you should have experience supporting individuals with additional needs, preferably within an educational setting but this is not essential. You should be a flexible, adaptable and intuitive person with a passion for helping people.
