Job Title: SEN Teacher - Post 16
Axcis have an amazing opportunity for a qualified SEND teacher to work in specialist college in beautiful Dartington. We are looking for teachers that have experience working with post 16 autistic students that have some additional educational needs. The role itself is for a long term placement lasting for the entire autumn term. You will be teaching life skills and functional subjects along with key skills. The college is surrounded by woodland and so there is the opportunity to carry out outside learning. We need to you be a qualified teacher with experience of working with secondary age or post 16 autistic students. The post is covering a long term sickness with potential of a permanent role being available to the right person. However being a long-term placement you have the chance to form lasting bonds with the students allowing you to create bespoke and effective lesson plans taking into account the specific needs of the class. This is a full-time Monday to Friday role with hours 8.45am to 3.45am. The pay rate is £130.
