Job Title: Secondary Teaching Assistant
A mainstream secondary school in Prescot is recruiting a TA to cover key stages 3 & 4 with students with SEND and is looking for someone to start immediately. You will teach Maths and English and assist students with their basic skills. Furthermore, you will often work 1:1 with students with challenging behaviour that have been sent out from the classroom. This is a long term role leading up to Easter half term.
The school is located not far from Liverpool city centre and has excellent public transport links. It is also easily accessible via neighbouring towns such as Widnes and Knowsley and is situated just off the M62 for car drivers. This is a large school with around 800 pupils and has a behavioural unit onsite. With a recent outstanding report from OFSTED, this school is well-known for its GCSE results and providing the best possible futures for all its students. You will be joining a team of experienced staff that are all determined in providing a stimulating and enjoyable education.
