Axcis Education are working with a secondary school in East Cornwall who are seeking to appoint a teaching assistant to work on a 1-1 basis. In this support role, you will be working with a Year 7 pupil who has autism. Working hours will be 8.30 – 3.30, Monday – Friday, term time only. The school is an average sized secondary school with approximately 1100 pupils on roll. Due to the location of the school, access to your own transport is essential. The pupil who requires 1-1 support can be challenging and so it is important that the successful candidate is resilient, patient, flexible and able to adapt to situations.
