Axcis Education are recruiting a TA for a primary school in St Helens to assist with general in-class support. This is a mainstream school with a 2 form entry and you will cover KS1 and KS2 helping students with their classwork across all relevant subjects such as literacy and numeracy. With an “outstanding” OFSTED report, this recently refurbished school has excellent facilities such as a swimming pool and a top of the range ICT class. Located in Haydock, it is easily accessible via public transport and is a 10 minute drive from the M58. Each class has around 30 students and you will help students gain their full potential in the classroom. There will always be a teacher present. This is an ideal role for someone who already has classroom experience or is looking to complete their PGCE and needs the essential experience to do so.
