Axcis Education are recruiting a TA to start immediately at a school in St Helens with a child in year 3. The pupil has challenging behaviour and has a bespoke curriculum. You will work 1:1 with this student and will work closely with the class teacher in re-engaging the student with his work and helping him reach his full potential. The school is based in Parr and has a recent outstanding report from OFSTED. With great public transport links and an excellent staff car park, the school is easily accessible. This is a two form entry school and has around 40 members of staff that are determined to create a stimulating and friendly atmosphere for each of its pupils. With an immediate start, this is an ongoing placement and will be temporary to permanent for the perfect candidate. Previous experience working 1:1 with challenging behaviour is preferred.
