Mathematics PRU Teacher, Challenging Behaviour, Cardiff, Full Time Our client is a Pupil Referral Unit that regularly needs experienced teachers to work with their students who range in age across key stages 2 - 5. These roles range from temporary to long-term assignments. The students have special needs relating to SEMH which often leads to challenging behaviour. Your ability to stay calm, show patience, perseverance and resilience is key to being a successful teacher in this role. Additional training isn't a requirement but conflict avoidance training such as Team Teach is beneficial. Subject specialism in Maths is ideal, or an extensive amount is okay too. Both full time and part time opportunities for all subjects are often available and the hours are during the normal school day times, 8:30am - 3:15pm.
