Job Title: Learning Support Assistant - SEND - Primary
Axcis Education is proud to be working with one of its longstanding clients in Manchester that is looking for a full-time teaching assistant to join them in the upcoming weeks. The ideal teaching assistant will have a level 2 qualification and experience of working with children with additional needs. The teaching assistant will support across the key stages and provide targeted support and intervention for students with SEND. Experience of autism, speech and language needs and SEMH is essential. This 2 form entry school is based in South Manchester and has an excellent reputation locally for the inclusive nature of its school community. Strong senior leaders ensure that all pupils make progress despite their starting point. The school is well staffed and resourced. In terms of accessibility, the school is close to Salford, Bury and of course Manchester. Public transport and the M60 are also very close by to the school. The role is full-time and will commence in the upcoming weeks. The hours are 8.00-4.00 and the role itself will run until July with the likelihood of going onto contract direct with the school thereafter.
