A mainstream primary school located in Carshalton, Sutton, are looking for a BSL TA to support two year 5 pupils. They are looking for a teaching assistant to work 1:1 in a mainstream classroom. It is therefore essential that the member of staff has a good level of BSL (British Sign Language 2 as a minimum) as well as experience in schools as you will be required to sign the learning to the child and support them with their work. The school are happy to consider someone who can work 3-5 days a week. Term time only. Hours are 8.30am to 3.30pm. Pay ranges from £90 -£100 depending on experience and level of qualification.
