Job Title: Behaviour Support - SEMH & Complex Needs - Seconda
Axcis Education is working with a secondary school in the Trafford borough that is looking for a full-time behaviour mentor to support a student 1:1 from the October Half term. The ideal behaviour mentor will have experience of support students with SEMH and challenging behaviour - ideally on a 1:1 basis. An understanding of de-escalation, engaging and supporting students in mainstream lessons is essential. The student needs a strong, supportive role model to support them in the classroom and outside of the classroom too. Experience of working with a looked after child is desired but not essential. This 'good' secondary school is based in Trafford has strong, passionate senior leaders that have created a lovely learning environment for their students. There is a strong understanding of inclusion throughout the school, where all pupils feel valued, safe and enjoy coming to school. The school is close to the M60, therefore is commutable by car; as well as public transport as the school is close to both tram and bus stops locally. This is a full-time role and it will begin after October Half-term until July 2021. If you have the relevant experience and are looking for full-time roles, then get in touch ASAP. If you are interested, then please contact Thomas Faithwaite at Axcis Education on 0161 5299200.
