Axcis Education are working with a primary school in the PL1 area of Plymouth who are seeking a confident teaching assistant to support a small group of Year 6 pupils on a part time basis. The school are looking for someone to work 2, possibly 3, afternoons per week - they can be flexible on which afternoons. The successful applicants will be required to support small groups of children who have ASD and speech and language needs. You will be required to keep the children engaged in their work and although the teacher will plan the work, you will be expected to help differentiate the activities to the children's abilities.
